
The Dietitian’s Potluck Book Release Ceremony
The Department of Clinical Nutrition, Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (DU), organized a Book Release Ceremony on 18th September 2025 at the Central Library Auditorium as part of the Rashtriya Poshan Maah – National Nutrition Month celebrations.
The highlight of the event was the formal release of the book titled “The Dietitian’s Potluck” (Volumes I & II), a compilation of more than 100 therapeutic recipes curated with the vision of making nutrition both practical and soulful. This publication is the proud culmination of the dissertation research, perseverance, and dedication of the Postgraduate Clinical Nutrition batch of 2020–2022.
The ceremony was graced with the presence of faculty members, dieticians, research scholars, postgraduate students, and other distinguished guests. The event not only showcased the academic excellence and creativity of budding clinical nutritionists but also highlighted the department’s commitment to promoting evidence-based dietary practices in alignment with national nutrition goals.
A total of 150 individuals actively participated in the program and benefitted from the insights shared during the occasion. The gathering was enriched with discussions on the importance of therapeutic diets, the integration of traditional wisdom with modern nutrition science, and the value of collaborative academic contributions.
The book release stood as a milestone in advancing nutritional awareness and academic contributions, further strengthening the department’s efforts in nurturing future dietitians who are dedicated to community health and well-being.
