Multi-Speciality Medical Camp with Free Mammogram
Screening
Organized by Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER)
in association with Rotary Club of Madras, A comprehensive Multi-Speciality Medical Camp
was successfully conducted on 17th October 2025 at Ganapathy Iyer Girls High School.
As part of this initiative, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research
(SRIHER) offered free mammogram screening to promote early detection and prevention of
breast cancer for women. Experienced doctors, pediatricians, and healthcare professionals from
SRIHER provided on-site screening, counselling, and awareness sessions on breast health and
preventive care. The camp also was inclusive of screening for the dental diseases and awareness
regarding the same.
The camp was a collaborative effort involving Rotary Club of Madras bringing together
specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver comprehensive healthcare services to the local
community.
Students of Ganapthy Iyer Girls High School and residents of the nearby areas actively participated
and benefited from free consultations, diagnostic services, and health awareness programs.
This joint initiative highlights the commitment of all partner institutions to community outreach,
accessible healthcare, and women’s wellness, reinforcing the vital message, “Early Detection
Saves Lives.”
