The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), Chennai, successfully conducted the RARE (Ramachandra Advanced Radiology Education) postgraduate refresher course from 19th to 22nd March 2026.
The academic activities commenced with a pre-conference exclusive webinar on Radio Physics and the EDiR examination held on 15th March 2026, conducted by Prof.G.ZOMBONI university of Verona, Italy faculty associated with the EDiR. This was followed by pre-conference workshops on 19th March 2026, covering various organ systems, interventional radiology, and contrast media.
The main conference, held from 19th to 22nd March 2026, witnessed the participation of over 220 delegates from across India and featured distinguished faculty from premier institutions, both nationally and internationally. With a strong academic focus, the conference greatly benefited junior consultant and postgraduate students preparing for examinations. through case-based discussions, practical pearls, and insights into advanced imaging. The event provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and mentorship, marking an academically enriching and memorable milestone for the department.
