B.Sc.(Hons.) Biomedical Sciences

Will demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to be aspiring academicians/Researchers in the field of Biomedical Sciences.

Will demonstrate proficiency in Biomedical Laboratory skills reinforced by a strong practical laboratory component.

Will demonstrate knowledge skills in specialized fields and will have the tag of major subject opted.

ii. Bioinformatics
iii. Biotechnology
iv. Human Genetics

Will demonstrate knowledge and skills in the fields of Pathology, Molecular Diagnostics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Medical Genetics, Developmental biology, Biotechnology, and Bioinformatics to practice in the field of Biomedical Sciences.

Will progress as Biomedical scientists who have diverse employment and career roles including the Veterinary service, the Health and Safety Executive, R&D laboratories, and as product manufacturers.

Will demonstrate competency and proficiency to pursue higher education (master’s and doctoral) and take up academic staff positions at leading universities and research institutes within India and globally.

Will be able to apply written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively in-patient care, industry, academia and research.

Will be able to apply responsibilities to promote Social health and safety, upholding the trust given to the profession by the society.
