Explain clearly the concepts and principles of Pharmacology and therapeutics

Explain the drug development processes

Explain the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, in addition to clinical trial procedures

Explain the principles and management of antimicrobial resistance.

Explain the concepts of health economics

Recognize relevant national programs

Acquisition of Skills:

Explain the principles and procedure Clinical pharmacy services

Recognize and apply skills in pharmacology-based services (e.g. rational prescribing).

Perform self-directed learning for evolving educational needs and scientific information, in the conduct of research, and in managerial assignments in the department/institution

Communication Skills:

Appreciate and apply principles of professionalism, ethics, and effective communication in the conduct of research, educational activities, and day-to-day work

Teaching and Training:

Demonstrate teaching for undergraduate students in medicine (MBBS) and allied health science courses (Dentistry, Physiotherapy and Nursing) effectively, so they become competent healthcare professionals and are able to contribute to the training of postgraduate trainees.

Perform appropriate assessment method for assessing undergraduate students in medicine (MBBS) and allied health science courses (Dentistry, Physiotherapy and Nursing) effectively , so they become competent healthcare professionals and are able to contribute to the training of postgraduate trainees

Research:

Carry out a research project (both basic and clinical) from planning to publication and be able to pursue academic interests and continue life-long learning to become more experienced in all the above areas and to eventually be able to guide postgraduates in their thesis work.
