SRMC & RI Recognized by IPC for Excellence in Patient Safety
We are pleased to share that the Medical Device Monitoring Centre (MDMC), Department of Pharmacology at Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, has been officially acknowledged by the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC).
Under the Materiovigilance Programme of India (MvPI), our centre is one of 34 MDMCs nationwide recognized for Excellence in Patient Safety for the year 2025. This acknowledgement is a result of our department's:
- Exemplary contribution to Medical Device Adverse Event (MDAE) reporting.
- Commendable performance in strengthening national patient safety initiatives.
- Dedication to the safe use of medical devices across the country.
