SRIHER conducts free medical camp at rasipuram camp

Sri Ramachandra Hospital, of Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research is organizing a multi-speciality free medical camp on Saturday and Sunday (28th and 29th September 2024) at Rasipuram, in memory of its Founder Chancellor Thiru. N.P.V Ramasamy Udayar. 

The camp will be held at Smt. Poovai Ammal Kalyana Mandapam, Rasipuram. Dr. Uma Sekar, Vice Chancellor will inaugurate the camp. Over 150 doctors, paramedical staff, and nurses including Prof. K. Balaji Singh, Dean, Medical College, Prof. Mohan Choudhary, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr. H. Thamizhchelvan, Dean, Dental College, Dr. S.R. Ramakrishnan, General Medicine, Dr. Sheila K. Pillai, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Dr. B. Vinod Kumar, Cardiology, Dr. V. Vilvanathan, Paediatrics, Dr. S. Sundar, Orthopaedics, Dr. R. Dharani, Dermatology, Dr. Rithvik Ramesh, Neurology, Dr. E. Ramprasad, Nephrology, Dr. S. Prasannakumar, ENT, Dr. B. Uma Shankar, Radiology, Dr. K.S. Sridharan, Laboratory Medicine will participate in the camp. 

Doctors from general medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, dermatology, ENT, cardiology, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, neurology, nephrology, clinical nutrition, medical oncology, clinical psychology, Speech Language and Hearing Pathology and dental departments will provide free screening and consultations, blood tests, special investigations like ECG, 2D Echo Cardiograph, ultrasound , X ray, Mamogram and PFT wherever necessary will be done free. Medicine for seven days will also be given free. 10 hearing aids, 500 Specs and 15 dentures will be given free to poor patients. A special heart camp will be conducted on account of World Heart Day on 29th September. 

The Tamilnadu Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Scheme consultation services will be available in the camp. Patients are requested to bring their medical records.
