As a 17-year-old attending my BDS counselling in 2002, I had no idea where my career would lead a decade later. Though settling outside India wasn’t on my list then, I look back fondly at the strong foundation SRDC gave me in the art and science of dentistry. The training shaped me into a well-rounded clinician, instilling values and core knowledge I carry to this day. Spending four and a half years at SRIHER was a life-changing experience. The lush green campus wasn’t just scenic—it was a sanctuary of learning, laughter, and personal growth. Being part of the Occupational Therapy Department was a privilege. The experience gained at SRFOT played a crucial role in receiving an opportunity to work in ABLE UK a multidisciplinary Paediatric clinic in Dubai. I am immensely grateful for the exemplary Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Public Health and the dedicated faculties who played a pivotal role in shaping my academic and professional trajectory. SRFPH also supported us in pursuing extracurricular activities such as NCC, NSS, dance, music, Rotary Club, theatre club, cultural, and sports activities allowing us to excel beyond academics. A highlight of my academic journey was the one-month internship program at the ICMR National Institute of Epidemiology. This experience was particularly significant for me, as it deepened my passion for epidemiology.
