30 Years of experience as a teacher in Pediatric Medicine and in Pediatric practice . Has more than 25 years of experience as an undergraduate and post graduate teacher and examiner . Has guided more than 25 MD thesis and PhD candidates . Was responsible for establishing the Adolescent clinic and health services at Sri Ramachandra Hospital . Have more than 40 publications and was PI for several vaccine trials . Is the Convener of the NMC Nodal Centre for faculty development . Also holds position as the Dean Education of SRIHER facilitating the curricular and faculty development and also the officer in charge of the department of Health Professions Education . Serves as the Chair of the University Curriculum Committee, Co Chairperson for Academic committee for Diploma , Certificate and Fellowships (Hybrid mode), Secretary of the University Governing Council , member of the Internal Quality Assurance cell (IQAC) , University Development committee (UDC) and Academic cell.

- Co-investigator for Open labeled, randomized multicentric, comparative study to evaluate the immunogenicity and reactogenicity of Enivac-HB (r DNA Hepatitis B vaccine, Panacea Biotec Pvt Ltd, India) with Engerix B ® (r DNA Hepatitis B vaccine; GSK biological) in infants.
- Principal Investigator for a Multi centric, open randomized, 3:1 parallel Phase III study to evaluate the immunogenicity and safety of a combined tetra DTPw-rh HepatitisB vaccine (rDNA) in 204 healthy infant subjects (with an allocation for 15% drop out) between the age group of 6 to 8 weeks (group-1 BE DTPw -rHepB vaccine and group-2: commercially available DTPw-rHepB vaccine Tritanrix-HB) a non-inferiority study.
- Principal Investigator for A phase IV multi centric,randomized, comparative clinical trial to assess the immunogenicity and reactogenicity of two different lots of DTwPHB + Hib ( Pentavac ) vaccine manufactured by Serum Institute of India Ltd ,Pune in infants.
