Dr. S. Rajeswari working as a Professor and Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (DU). She started her career in this institution in the year 1996. During her tenure, she claimed various level of career paths from Nursing Tutor to Professor . She pursued her Doctoral degree from Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai. Currently handles various nursing courses for different programmes across the university. She uses innovative methods such as blended learning, simulation, role play, concept mapping, Reflective learning, and OSCE apart from traditional teaching-learning, and evaluation methods. Her administrative responsibilities include curriculum revision, preparation of evaluation tools and course modules. Currently serves as a committee member in the Board of Studies of SRIHER, Library committee secretary, and online education committee member at the University level. At the Faculty of Nursing, she is the coordinator of the Learning Management System (LMS), member of the Faculty Quality Cell , Nursing Education unit, Nursing research unit , Examination committee, and disciplinary committee. She has been guiding M.Sc., project, and Ph.D. students. She serves as a doctoral committee member for other universities, editorial board member, and journal reviewer of various nursing journals. Has published in Scopus and Pubmed indexed journals. Her current research focuses on women’s health, reproductive health, Obesity, eHealth, and mApp. Organized workshops, outreach activities, awareness programs, and, health camps. Has been resource person and presented papers in national and international conferences. Actively involves in the Alumni Association by holding various positions. Appointed as Ad-hoc inspector by the Indian Nursing Council, Examiner, and question paper setter for other universities.
