Practicing as physiotherapist from 1995. Specialized in Physiotherapy for patients with neurological impairments. Experienced in handing patients with brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s disease and children with motor delay. Formerly Principal, Faculty of Physiotherapy. Currently holds portfolio as Academic Officer of the university, also holds office of choice based credit systems. Guided 30 studies in physiotherapy for neurological conditions in post graduate program in Physiotherapy. Studied pattern of recovery in stroke survivors as a part of Doctoral research. Published 43 papers in the area of neurological physiotherapy.Developed a hand held dynamometer, which can measure force developed in a muscle, through intra mural funding of the University.Validated a digital tool Re-Win platform for stroke rehabilitation and published the results.
