Bio

Dr.Anupma Jyoti Kindo is the Professor and former Head of the Department of Microbiology, and Past President of ISMM. She has 103 publications, completed 10 funded projects, and worked on 7 multicentric studies. She has given 52 guest lectures, presented papers at national and international conferences, and conducted 15 national workshops in Basic and Molecular Mycology.

• Rapid deduction of invasive candidiasis from serum sample using gold nano probes from ICU patients with sepsis
• Multi Locus Sequence Typing of Aspergillus and identification of cryptic species of Aspergillus
• Standardisation of LAMP assay for the detection of cutvularia lunata
• Developing a new low cost method for differentiation of Candida auris from other Candida species in the laboratory, standardization of real time PCR for rapid identification of Candida auris and study of its virulence factors
