- First Dentist in the country to be awarded a clinical PhD in Implantology as an independent research scholar.
- Received the Award of Excellence and Best Paper in Implant Dentistry at the 48th Indian Society of Periodontology Annual National Conference held at Goa between 15-18 th October 2024.
- Winner of the Pieze-Awe challenge for Piezo-surgical procedure at National level involving over 120 teams from top15 Dental colleges of the country with 2 Lakhs as prize money awarded on 23rd June 2019.
- Awarded Best poster in the Clinical implant research category in the National Level 10k Implant Symposium, Sept 18th 2021, Saveetha Dental college, Chennai and was awarded OSSTEM Implant kit worth 2.5 LAKHS for the first prize
- Awarded the title of Fellow by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, September 18, 2021.

Exploring Bacteriophage-Driven Periodontal Diseases using Multi-Omics approach
The most common forms of inflammatory periodontal diseases are gingivitis and
periodontitis. Dental plaque biofilm-induced gingivitis is characterized by gingival
inflammation and swollen and bleeding gums. Here are the bacteriophage-driven oral
diseases and their impact on systemic health. The link between phage and cardiac infections
remains unexplored and also limited knowledge of metabolomic signatures of bacteriophage
activity in oral health and disease. This project Integrates multi-omics data with bacteriophage in oral disease, elucidating their potential connection to systemic health particularly cardiac infections.
