Bio

Worked as Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 2001 – 2008. Underwent training in Advanced Obstetric Imaging 2008. Shifted focus to Obstetric and Gynaecologic imaging within OB-GYN department since 2011.  Underwent further training in Fetal Medicine, Mediscan Systems, Chennai (2012 – 2013) and obtained Post doctoral Fellowship in Fetal Medicine obtained from TN Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in December 2013. Now In-Charge Ultrasound and Fetal Medicine Division, Department Of OB-GYN, SRMC since January 2014.

Teaching Experience – Undergraduate teaching: 24 years, Postgraduate teaching: 23 years

Ultrasound training Experience

1. Training doctors in obstetric imaging since 2008
2. Initiated two courses in Sri Ramachandra Medical Center – since 2014
   1. Advanced training in Obstetric and Gynecology ultrasound (1 year duration course)
   2. Fellowship in Fetal Medicine (2 year duration course)
3. Currently in charge of three Fellowship programs in Sri Ramachandra Medical Center
   1. Basic training in Obstetric and Gynecology ultrasound (6 month duration course)
   2. Advanced training in Obstetric and Gynecology ultrasound (1 year duration course)
   3. Fellowship in Fetal Medicine (2 year duration course)
