Dr. A. Meriton Stanly is an experienced professional in the field of Community Medicine with 20 years of teaching experience for Undergraduate Medical students and Postgraduate students of Community Medicine. He was graduated from Tirunelveli Medical College in 1999 and pursued MD in Community Medicine in 2004. He joined Sri Ramachandra Medical College in 2001 and alumni of SRIHER since 2004.He was awarded Dr.Kesavalu Gold medal for best outgoing student in MD community Medicine in 2004 for his remarkable academic performances. He was awarded medical excellence award from Indian Solidarity Council, New Delhi in Sep 2017 for his outstanding contribution in health care. He has several publications in National and International Indexed Journals. He extends his research advisory support to Ph.D scholars in SRIHER and other prestigious Universities. In addition to his academic activities he was invited as external member for Board of Studies for MBBS & MD community Medicine in other deemed University Medical colleges. To add to his credits, he is an external member of ethics committee in reputed medical college in Chennai. He is nominated as Ex – Officio member in the Academic Council of SRIHER. He is currently the Professor & Head of Community Medicine department, has passion for teaching & research, organizing research methodology workshops, CME Programs proficiently managing rural and urban health training Centre along with extension activities.
