Bio

• Completed D.Pharm from Annamalai University, B.Pharm from Madurai Medical College, M.Pharm from Annamalai University and Ph.D in Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (DU), Porur, Chennai.
• Have guided 24 UG students and 34 PG students and Currently guiding 6 Ph.D Scholars.
• An academician, aspiring to excel in the field of novel drug delivery system, especially in the area of transdermal drug delivery systems, sublingual films and tablets, Implants, Floating drug delivery system, Self microemulsifying drug delivery systems, Nanoparticles.
• Other areas of interest are Targeted drug delivery systems, Bioavailability enhancement of poorly water soluble drugs. Doctoral research work was based on Factorial studies on enhancement of solubility, dissolution rate and bioavailability of poorly water soluble drugs.

Won Best Paper Award in the Indian Congress of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences – 2010 and Indian Pharmaceutical Association Convention – 2010 held at Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai, during 13th -14th March 2010.
