Dr. M. Ganesh is a Senior Professor in Biochemistry with an extensive background in medical education and clinical chemistry. He completed his MBBS from Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College and pursued his MD in Biochemistry from the prestigious Madras Medical College. With over 20 years of experience in medical teaching, Dr. M. Ganesh is highly regarded for his passion for Quality Management in the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory, as well as his logical thinking and problem-solving approach within the lab setting.
Dr.M.Ganesh is known for his unique teaching style, emphasizing clinical perspectives and case-based learning, making complex biochemical concepts more relatable and understandable for both MBBS and MD students. His commitment to education extends to his efforts in curriculum development, where he has consistently worked to align the medical education curriculum with evolving advancements. He has also played a pivotal role in developing the foundation course curriculum for MBBS students.
As a former Head of the Department of Biochemistry, a role he served for four years, Dr.M. Ganesh fostered strong collaborations with clinicians, enhancing the integration of biochemistry with clinical practice. His enthusiasm for interaction with clinicians and his dedication to improving medical education have made him a respected figure in his field.
Dr.M. Ganesh is also deeply interested in cardiovascular and diabetes research.
