Bio

He started his career in SRIHER as Lecturer and currently holds the position of Associate Professor and Head, Department of MSK physiotherapy. He has a clinical experience of 23 years and academic experience of 19 years. Had completed Postgraduate degree  in the specialty of musculoskeletal sciences and has great interest in the field of manual therapy and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Certified Mulligan Concept Practitioner (CMP) as an international recognition conferred by MCTA in 2005 and had completed orthopedics manual physical therapy certification (COMPT) from the Institute of Therapeutic Sciences Michigan and SRU in 2012 and the Basic Dry Needling Course in 2015. Currently pursuing a PhD in Shoulder disorders. Had worked in the team for international and national accreditation for the university and hospital. Has around 12 publications in indexed journals and guided around 26 PG dissertations and encouraged student participation in various scientific presentations at UG and PG level.

The Indian Association Of Physiotherapist (IAP) ,is a non-profit,  non-governmental organization that represents the physiotherapy profession at National and international Level. IAP is an apex body representing the interests of Indian physiotherapists and was a member of World Physiotherapy from 1967. The applicants who applies for membership were reviewed for  the education and qualifications and to endorse them as Indian-educated physiotherapists.
