Bio

I, Dr.D.Anusha Graduated MBBS from IRT Perundurai Medical College, MD Pharmacology from SRMC, I have successfully completed 17 years of teaching experience at SRMC. The primary area of research focus has been on conduct of various studies on nanotechnology to engineer the properties of therapeutic agents, the exploration of marine organisms for bioactive compounds as drug targets. The specific areas of involvement also include projects involving clinical trials and active pharmacovigilance activities involving stringent monitoring and the reporting of adverse drug events. Multiple research projects using in-vitro and in-vivo techniques and animal studies have also been extensively focused on and research project in newer targets in Parkinsonism is a key milestone in the development of therapeutic interventions in medical pharmacology. The Department of Pharmacology has initiated and spurred the growth of a unique research track in newer drug targets at molecular levels. Using a combination of high-resolution, quantitative laboratory-based methods and population-based field methods, they have developed a framework for large-scale health assessments and intervention design while providing newer insights into molecular methods for drug dosage assessments.
