He graduated from Annamalai University and did M.Ch from Ramachandra University, underwent Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery in Rajiv Gandhi University, He is currently working as Professor and Head of the Department in SRMC and has expertise in entire spectrum of cardiac thorcic surgeries such as congential Heart surgery & Valve Repair & Heart Failure Management, Cardiac Transplantation, Minimally Invasive Cardiac surgeries and Thoracic surgeries. He has performed more than 13,000 successful heart surgeries.
