Dr. Kavitha Swaminathan is a Professor in the Department Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry. With a BDS and MDS from the same institution, she has dedicated her career to advancing dental education and research since 2009. She has held various academic positions, before achieving her current role as a Professor since September 2022. Her primary area of research are early childhood caries, maternal oral health, sleep dentistry and interceptive orthodontics. She has numerous publications in esteemed journals, contributing to critical advancements in her field. Being a life member of the Indian Society of Dental Traumatology and the Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Dr. Kavitha is committed to enhancing dental practices through education and research.
