My expertise encompasses anatomic pathology and cytopathology, with a special focus on oncopathology, as well as immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence reporting. Diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) constitutes about 25-35% of all adult non-hodgkins lymphoma. The Hans algorithm classifies DLBCL into germinal centre and non-germinal centre subtypes. Translocations that target the oncogenes MYC, Bcl2 and Bcl6 have been consistently reported in DLBCL. MYC translocations confer a worse prognosis in patients treated with CHOP and CHOP plus Rituximab regimens(R-CHOP).
