Research Interest

Projects

Utility of C-MYC expression in concert with BCL2 & BCL6 as a prognostic and theranostic marker in Diffuse Large B cell Lymphoma

Diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) constitutes about 25-35% of all adult non-hodgkins lymphoma.  The Hans algorithm classifies DLBCL into germinal centre and non-germinal centre subtypes. Translocations that target the oncogenes MYC, Bcl2 and Bcl6 have been consistently reported in DLBCL. MYC translocations confer a worse prognosis in patients treated with CHOP and CHOP plus Rituximab regimens(R-CHOP).
