Dr. Chandru joined Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute as an Assistant Professor in 2010. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2012 and Professor in 2018. He was a Guide for MCh Urology Postgraduates from 2022. He trained postgraduates in Endo-urology and Laparoscopic surgeries. He was a member of Morbidity and Mortality Committee from 2018 to 2021. He was also a member of Human Organ Transplant Committee from 2022 to 2024. He was a member of Cadaver Organ Committee from 2024 till date. He has helped in organizing numerous Urology workshops and conferences.
