Stroke often results in upper extremity paralysis or weakness, significantly impacting a person’s independence and quality of life. Traditional rehabilitation methods have primarily focused on unilateral movement of the affected arm. However, bilateral arm training, which involves coordinated movement of both arms simultaneously, has emerged as a promising approach to promote motor recovery. This research proposal aims to investigate the effectiveness of bilateral arm training in improving paralyzed upper extremity function following stroke.
