Ms.Muthu selvi is currently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Audiology, Faculty of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education & Research (SRIHER-Deemed University), Chennai, India. She also serves as a Consultant Audiologist, at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre.
She completed Masters of Science (Audiology) from the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing. Her academic teaching includes courses related to electrophysiological assessment, cochlear implants and auditory processing disorder (APD). She has developed several indigenous materials for assessment and management of APD. She has conducted several workshops in assessment and management of APD. Her clinical interests are just following academic interest in dealing with children with cochlear implant and APD. She closely works with APD and CI clinic at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre in providing quality clinical services. Her research focus is on objective based fitting of cochlear implant and APD management.
She has published several research in the related cochlear implant and APD. She has won serval award in national conference for her research presentation. she was awarded Best Teacher at Dr. MGR university in 2012.
