This is a multidisciplinary university teaching hospital situated at the suburban region of Chennai. The Orthopaedic department has six units and our unit has once a week emergency. We have 18 M.S.Ortho students joining in our Institute per year. My responsibilities includes supervision of ward work, casualty and out patient services besides teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Orthopaedics. I am also involved actively in the decision making process of the unit. I am also In-charge of the Paediatric Orthopaedic Unit since 2006.
