- Dr. FATHIMA BANU. R did her Undergraduation in Tamilnadu Government Dental College and Postgraduation in Sri Ramachandra University. She has also completed PhD in the field of Prosthodontics & Implantology at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. She has been awarded B.P. RAJAN GOLD MEDAL winner in M.D.S PROSTHODONTICS. She has received Fellowship in International congress of Implantology and has gained an additional degree in MHSc Public Health. She has cleared Indian Board of Prosthodontics Part 1 exam.
She has 10 years of experience after Postgraduation till date in Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. She has 52 articles published in various scopus, pubmed, web of science indexed journals. She has also received credit for her publication with the highest impact factor of 4.1 in the journal. She has received 5 patents (1 FER completed, 1 published, 3 filed) and 1 grant to her credit. Awarded ‘Prostho Wizard’ by Indian Prosthodontic Society Tamilnadu & Puducherry branch and “Young Academician” by IDA Thiruvalluvar branch. She is also the ‘Technical editor’ of Journal of Clinical Prosthodontics & Implantology, the official publication of Indian Prosthodontic Society Tamilnadu & Puducherry branch.
