Dr.K.Karthika, joined Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute as a Demonstrator in 2015 and was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2016 and to Associate Professor in 2025. She was the In Charge of Case Resolution – for MBBS from 2015 to 2021. She was the E-Learning In-charge for Pharmacology department from Aug 2016 till September 2023. She is the E-Learning In-charge for phase II MBBS from 2021. She has been a Resource person for E-learning and Pharmacology at various national conferences. She was the NAAC & NMC Coordinator for the Pharmacology department from 2016 to 2018 and again from 2023 till date. She was a Facilitator – NAAC Cycle 3 Accreditation process. She was the In Charge for various courses like MBBS, BDS, MDS, M.Sc. Renal Sciences and Dialysis Technology, M.Sc. Neuropharmacology, etc. She was the Organizing Secretary – ASPIRE 2023. She was the Member – AITo COPD Committee from 2020 to 2023. She is the Clinical Pharmacologist in the G block of Sri Ramchandra Hospital from June 2024. She is also a member of the Pharmacotherapeutic Committee and Hospital Quality Assurance Division Committee. She has completed numerous courses like Competency Based Medical Education, conducted by MEU India and the Basic Course in Clinical Research conducted by ICMR. She is a Member of SRIHER University exam support team from 2020.
Dr.K.Karthika has completed her MBBS from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in 2007. She has done her MD Pharmacology in Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in 2013. She has completed numerous courses like Competency Based Medical Education, conducted by MEU India and the Basic Course in Clinical Research conducted by ICMR. She has also completed Revised Basic Course Workshop, AETCOM, CISP I, II, III workshops.
