Dr. Tessa graduated in 2005 from Government Medical College, Trivandrum, Kerala, and subsequently worked as an Assistant Surgeon at the Community Health Centre, Chelakkara, Kerala, for six months. She completed her postgraduate training in Microbiology at Sri Ramachandra University in 2010. In 2015, she joined the Department of Microbiology as a Demonstrator and was later promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor in 2018. She is actively involved in routine microbiology laboratory reporting, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, and guiding students in research activities.
