The project titled physician CARRS is a state of the art, population based cohort of South Asians to address existing and emerging questions related to cardio-metabolic disease.  The Precision CARRS study is a research collaboration between the   Centre  for  Chronic Disease Control (CCDC),  New Delhi,  Rollins School of  Public  Heath,  Emory University, USA.  All  India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Madras Diabetes Research Foundation, Chennai, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. The study will build on and enhance scientific value of  the ongoing CARRS study cohort study in Delhi and Chennai.
