Dr. Neethi Jesudass, has been an academician and an active health care provider since 2008. She has taught a variety of courses, including Auditory Perception, Auditory Processing Disorders, Research Seminar-1, Research Seminar-2, Aural Rehabilitation in Children, Aural Rehabilitation in Adults, and Diagnostic Audiology-Physiological Tests. She also trained in qualitative research methods. Her clinical and research interests include tele-practice, newborn hearing screening, and diagnostic audiology. She has over thirteen years of experience. She has published several articles and presented scientific papers at national and international conferences. She received the ‘Best Award for Speech Poster’ in 2016 for her research at the Tamil Nadu chapter of the Indian Speech and Hearing Association (TAN-ISHA). Her ongoing Ph.D. is in the area of “needs and readiness towards implementation of tele-practice”. In due course, she has completed various certifications such as Qualitative research methods and analysis, Qualitative and quantitative research with NVivo and EVIEWS, Content analysis using NVivo and open-source software, Health research fundamentals, Critical appraisal techniques for healthcare literature, and Project-writing a research paper. She has been a resource person at conferences and has been an examiner for examinations at various universities in the country. She is currently guiding postgraduates in the area of auditory processing disorders and fathers’ perspectives in the rehabilitation of speech-language and hearing disorders (qualitative study).
