Dr. Adlyne Reena Solomon
MBBS, DNB (General Medicine), DM (Endocrinology)

Dr. Adlyne Reena Solomon is a Professor of Endocrinology in the Department of Endocrinology at Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai.

She completed her MBBS from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Coimbatore, followed by DNB in General Medicine from Southern Railway Headquarters Hospital, Chennai and DM in Endocrinology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi.

With over 50 invited lectures at national and international forums, Dr. Solomon has contributed extensively to academic endocrinology. Her scholarly work includes more than 55 publications in reputed national and international journals, along with 11 book chapters. She has presented over 30 posters at major conferences and has been actively involved in clinical research as a co-investigator in trials and as a mentor for PhD scholars.

She is a member of several professional bodies including the Endocrine Society of India, the Endocrine Society of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India, the Association of Physicians of India, and the Indian Medical Association.

Her academic contributions, research expertise and commitment to patient care continue to advance the field of Endocrinology.

Educations

Dr. Adlyne Reena Solomon pursued her MBBS from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Coimbatore (2000–2006), where she was a distinction holder in Oto-Rhino-Laryngology and the highest internal scorer in Social and Preventive Medicine. She went on to complete her DNB in General Medicine at Southern Railway Headquarters Hospital, Chennai (2008–2011), during which she won recognition at academic forums, including a cash prize in the ECG quiz at APICON Tamil Nadu chapter.

She subsequently obtained her DM in Endocrinology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi (2012–2015), where her research work was acknowledged with awards such as the Best Poster Prize for her study on Tumour Induced Osteomalacia at Christian Medical College, Vellore.

Her academic journey has been consistently marked by excellence and innovation, laying a strong foundation for her career as a clinician, researcher, and academician in the field of Endocrinology.
