Bio

Dr. Jegadeesh S has been associated with Sri Ramachandra institute of Higher Education and Research since 2016 as a consultant in Pediatric surgery. He has completed his under graduation in VMKV Medical College, Salem in 2008. Then he pursued his Post graduate training in MS (General Surgery) from Madras Medical College in 2012, following which he worked as Assistant Civil Surgeon in Government Hospital, Jayankondam. His superspecialist training  in Pediatric Surgery was from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chandigarh where he worked as a senior resident for 8 months after clearing the examinations in 2015. He acquired Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India.

He has special interest in Neonatal surgeries, Pediatric thoracic surgeries, Pediatric Laparoscopic surgeries for congenital gastro intestinal conditions, Pediatric urological procedures and Antenatal counselling of mothers.

He is very approachable child friendly surgeon giving importance to Child’s well being as a whole apart from treating the surgical issues. He is versatile in 3 languages for easy communication. He has multiple awards, national and international publications for his credit
