Passionate about patient care, research and mentoring future optometrists. Ready to leverage the expertise in various fields of optometry such as Low vision, contact lens, Pediatric and Geriatric care, Binocular vision and Neuro-Optometric rehabilitation. Have conducted research and published scholarly articles in peer-reviewed and Scopus journals. Fascinated in research on various diagnostic techniques, vision therapy and Artificial Intelligence. Successfully transitioned from a passionate faculty to an Assistant professor with engaging teaching strategies for Postgraduates and Undergraduates students at SRIHER.

This study uses crossword puzzles of varying complexity to evaluate visual search efficiency in patients with mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) compared to healthy normals.
Optometric Association of Tamil Nanbargal (OATN) was established and registered under Societies act in 2012 with registration number 524/2012. It represents about 2500 qualified Optometrists in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. We are an active association in India with highly experienced, and highly educated optometrists and the only association in India to cover all colleges of optometry providing student membership.

As a faculty mentor for students to participate in Idea to Business international competition 2021 by Esa Unggul University, Indonesia in collaboration with Academy of Entrepreneurs, Australia, have won the first prize in the competition. Received the certificate of completion of the course “How to turn an idea into a Business” from 24th August 2021 to 12th October 2021.
Received the award of GATE Young Faculty Grant 2019 at SRIHER, with grant allocation of RS 95,000/-.
