I am a certified anaesthesiologist with over 7 years of experience in a fast paced hospital environment seeking to provide my expertise to assist my fellow health care personnel at SRIHER in delivering quality medical care to the community in the field of Anaesthesiology.
As a perioperative physician I am actively involved involved in the anesthetic management of a variety of patients ranging from those with no comorbidities to those patients diagnosed with complex clinical conditions tailored to the individual anesthetic requirements of each patient. I am actively involved in providing the best the assesment, conduct of anaesthesia and post anaesthesia care of surgical patients and also have a dedicated involvement in the intensive care management of post operative surgical intensive care patients. My areas of clinical practice includes difficult airway management, advanced usg guided blocks for pain management, high risk emergency obstetric patients, non operating room sedation, transplant anesthesia, difficult intravascular lines placement, management of critically ill patients for emergency procedures. I am also involved in providing speciality based anesthesia for multiple specialities. As a post graduate facilitator I prepare and co-ordinate classes for MD Anesthesiology postgraduates. As a clinical facilitator for M.B.B.S undergraduates I conduct teaching seminars and skill based competency classes. As a clinical instructor for allied health sciences (B.Sc) under graduates and M.Sc Nursing Practitioner. I train them in to assist clinicians in the operating rooms.
As a beliver in promoting and continuous updation of knowledge in the field of Anesthesiology, I am actively involved in the various national conferences and workshops conducted by the department. I have helped organize RACE 2023, a 3 day national conference where over 1000 delegates participated. I have also helped organize and conduct RAALS 2024 (Difficult Airway Society, UK and All India Difficult Airway Association Accredited) Airway Workshop . As a clinical researcher I am involved in various department clinical research studies and also help coordinate the clinical audits in the department. I am also actively engaged in a number activities conducted by institutional committees such as Pharmacy Therapeutic & Antibiotic Monitoring Committee and Transfusion Medicine Committee.
