Bio

Mr. Madhan C is currently working as a Grade 1 Audiologist in the department of Audiology, Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education & Research (SRIHER-Deemed University), Chennai, India. He completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in speech and hearing from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education & Research in Chennai, India. He received the Cochlear Implant Group of India traveling fellowship for audiology in 2017 and gained additional knowledge in cochlear implants at Meenakshi Speech and Hearing Clinic in New Delhi. He is an experienced audiologist with a focus on early identification and intervention for hearing-related issues. With over 5 years of clinical experience, he is skilled in using a range of tests to assess hearing problems, from basic to electrophysiological tests and vestibular assessments, and works with patients of all ages. He is currently leading the Sri Ramachandra Hearing Centre, where he provides training and support to colleagues and students. Additionally, he is involved in conducting training programs on occupational safety and noise health hazards for employees of SRIHER (DU). He has presented few papers at CIGICON and published a paper on the status of the newborn hearing screening program in Tamil Nadu. He is also the treasurer of the SRFASLP chapter alumni association at SRIHER (DU) and a life member of the Cochlear Implant Group of India.
