Bio

Dr. K. C. Vignesh is a senior lecturer in the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry. With a passion for pediatric dental care and a strong commitment to academic excellence, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our institution. His dedication to improving children’s oral health through both clinical practice and education has made him a respected figure in the field of pediatric dentistry. Educational Background: Dr. Vignesh completed his Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery (BDS) with first class at Sri Ramachandra University in 2014. Further, He continued his academic journey by obtaining his Master’s degree in Dental Surgery (MDS) in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry at Dr M G R Educational Research Institute with first class- honours and distinction in 2018. The record for organizing the maximum number of webinars on Pediatric Dentistry was set by Dr K C Vignesh and his team from Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Faculty of Dental Sciences, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher education and Research (Deemed to be University) of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He organised 22 webinars, ‘Chat with Champion Buddies’, between 4^th November, 2020 – 15^th September, 2021 with 22 speakers for 941 participants to create awareness on Pediatric Dentistry, as confirmed on 31^st December,2021.
