Dr. Subashini Rajendiran did her MBBS from Government Medical College, Salem. She pursued DNB Geneal Surgery in Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences and did her MCH Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Stanley Medical College. She is an excellent clinician with compassion towards patients. She is currently a member of ISSH Academic team. She is also the Executive Council member of Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand- 2022 to 2024. She regularly presents clinical work and research in State and national conferences.
Area of Specialization- Hand trauma, Replantation of amputated hand and fingers, Microsurgery, free flaps, Brachial plexus injuries, Hand tumor, Vascular malformations, Cerebral palsy- spastic hand, Lymhedema of upper limb.

The book has a description of basics of microsurgery and description of commonly used free flaps. Co-authored three chapters.
