Dr.Mathangi, has been teaching physiology for students pursuing Medical and other allied health speciality for the last 25 years. Since 2019, she has played a pivotal role as the Head of Department, spearheading the development of innovative programs and curriculum revisions that have culminated in the program achieving international accreditation.
A lifelong learner, she continuously expands her expertise, becoming an Internationally Certified Life Coach and recently completing training as a “Positivity and Relaxation Training Provider” from the prestigious Benson Henry Institute at Harvard University. Driven by a deep passion for teaching and research, Dr. Mathangi actively contributes to the field by authoring scientific papers, book chapters and text books too.
Dr. Mathangi’s research focuses on Stress and Sleep, with funded projects from esteemed organizations like DST and DRDO.
Her publications include Original scientific articles (70) Book Chapters (5), Co-Authored books (3) including “The Mindmaps in Physiology, as a compendium to Guyton’s Textbook of Physiology, SAE.
Beyond academia, she actively engages as a life coach, conducting personality development and wellness workshops for working professionals and has conducted over 190 such programs.
As a trained assessor for accreditation by the National Assessment and accreditation Board, she also serves NAAC peer team member.
