Dr.Keerthi Venkatesan is an Orthodontist with experience in clinical, academic and research. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2015, followed by M.D.S in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics in 2019. In 2022, she graduated with Membership in Orthodontics bicolleguate degree from the prestigious Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and england. She has authored many publications in Pubmed indexed journals and her research spans a wide range of topics including nanoparticles coating on archwire, systematic reviews. Dr. Keerthi has experience in treating patients with conventional fixed orthodontics appliance, self ligating appliance, aligners functional appliances, and temporary anchorage devices (TADs). She has delivered presentations at various national and international conferences. She has been a resource person for the faculty development workshops organised by the Dental Education Unit of SRDC&H. In addition to his clinical and research activities, she has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, many of which have received accolades at various conferences. She was awarded H.D.Merchant award for original work in the field of Preventive Orthodontic Research, at the 55th Indian Orthodontic Conference, Amritsar, 2021 by the Indian Orthodontic Society for the research work “ Evaluation of titanium dioxide coating on surface roughness of nickel titanium archwires and its influence on streptococcus mutans adhesion and enamel mineralization- a prospective clinical study”. Additionally, she has played a significant role in organizing and contributing to various orthodontic quiz competitions at both state and national levels.
