Dr. Sandhya Suresh is a committed nephrologist with a deep-rooted passion for clinical care and research. She completed her MBBS at Madras Medical College, Chennai, and her MD in General Medicine at Christian Medical College, Vellore, before specializing in nephrology with a DrNB from the esteemed Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital (MPUH), Nadiad, Gujarat. Her keen interest in glomerular diseases inspired her to pursue further specialization, including the Glomcon fellowship and the Glomerular Disease Primer Course in Tokyo through the International Society of Nephrology. In addition to her clinical and research work, Dr. Sandhya is actively involved in teaching post-graduate students, playing a key role in mentoring the next generation of nephrologists. She is also part of the editorial team for Kidney Kolumns, the newsletter of the Indian Society of Nephrology, and is dedicated to promoting nephrology education within the medical community and to the public. Her completion of the Nephrology Social Media Collective (NSMC) internship further underscores her commitment to expanding awareness and knowledge in Nephrology.
