Dr. S. Nandhini is an accomplished Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy, Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Pharmacy, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (DU), Chennai. With an impressive academic background, she earned her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, where her thesis focused on the Comparative pharmacognostical and phytochemical analysis of Adhatoda species and the development of a phytosome formulation to enhance vasicine bioavailability. Dr. Nandhini completed her M. Pharm in Pharmacognosy with distinction from the College of Pharmacy, Madras Medical College, Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. Her research expertise spans across the standardization and quality control of herbal drugs, method development using HPTLC and HPLC techniques, and novel drug delivery systems. Her research contributions have led to multiple publications in high-impact journals, with topics ranging from phytochemical investigations to innovative nanofiber dressings and herbal formulations. Dr. Nandhini has also presented her research at numerous national and international conferences and has been actively involved in organizing workshops on advanced analytical techniques such as HPTLC and LC-MS. Beyond her academic contributions, she has a keen interest in enhancing the therapeutic efficacy of traditional herbal formulations through modern pharmaceutical technologies.
