The Tongue, a vital organ is recognized as a novel forensic tool rapidly flourishing in forensic odontology with its intricate pattern and difficulty to forge. The AIM of the study was to assess the clinical and impression analysis of tongue prints among age and gender and their reliability in personal identification. The study comprised of 144 patients. Clinical and impression analysis of tongue characteristics such as color, shape, tip, width, surface texture, and lateral borders was performed. The results showed marked difference in width of the tongue with higher significance framing it as a stalwart parameter of this study, displaying it as an important feature compared to other tongue characteristics in gender dimorphism.
