Dr. P.S. Muthu Subramanian is a Senior Resident and Deputy Quality Manager in Histopathology and Clinical Pathology at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER). He earned his MD from Saveetha Medical College in 2021 and has since built a notable career marked by a blend of teaching, research, and laboratory quality management. He is actively involved in pathology education, with 7 years of experience teaching undergraduate students and 3 years dedicated to postgraduate education. He has a solid understanding of reporting routine and frozen histopathology biopsies, as well as oncopathology specimens, adhering to the latest CAP protocols for cancer case reporting. His proficiency extends to cytopathology, including FNAC, fluid cytology, Pap smear reporting. Immunohistochemistry, and hematology. In his role as Deputy Quality Manager, he oversees laboratory organization, internal and external quality management, and coordination ensuring that the laboratory operates at the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
