Dr.S.Bhagavathy, completed her Undergraduate, Postgraduate degree in Biochemistry & Bioinformatics with the Research degrees M.Phil. and Ph.D.in Biochemistry, she started her teaching career as a lecturer in the department of Biochemistry in Prince Shri Venkateswara College of Arts and Science in 2000. she worked as a senior Research Fellow (SRF) in National Institute of Tuberculosis Research (NIRT-ICMR), under Clinical Pharmacology project from 2001 to 2004. She worked as an Assistant Professor in Post Graduate and Research Department of Biochemistry in Mohamed Sathak College of Arts and Science College, from 2004 to 2022. She joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, Shri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research in March 2022. Her research interest is Cancer Biology and Clinical Biochemistry. She is a recognized Research supervisor under University of Madras for M.Phil. and Ph.D. Biochemistry research programs. Currently she is recognized as a research supervisor in Biomedical Sciences and guiding Ph.D. scholar. She is guiding undergraduate, post graduate projects and summer research fellowship. She has more than 30 Research publications in the reputed Journals and one Book Chapter. She has presented her research papers in various National and International conferences. She is academically able to handle the theory and the related practical for undergraduate and postgraduate courses of Biomedical sciences. She is interested in the subjects of Biomolecules, Enzyme technology, Intermediary metabolism. Molecular Biology, Clinical Biochemistry, Immunology, Cell Biology and Bioinformatics.
