Mrs. S. Joan Freeda Honey is a highly skilled nursing professional with extensive experience in the field. She has a strong background in Medical Surgical Nursing, with a particular focus on Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgical Nursing. Following her Bachelor’s degree, she gained significant clinical experience working in the post-operative Cardio Thoracic unit of a tertiary care hospital in Coimbatore, where she adeptly managed a variety of cardiac, cardio thoracic, and pulmonology conditions. In addition to her clinical expertise, Mrs. Joan has seven years of teaching experience in nursing. Her research interests are centered on Cardiac, Diabetes, and Critical Care. She has conducted research projects, including studies on the knowledge and practice of basic cardiac life support among adults in selected settings in Chennai, and on nursing students’ satisfaction with clinical training environments in the same region. Mrs. Joan is committed to continuous professional development, evidenced by her participation in numerous conferences, seminars, and workshops. She has attended prominent events such as the 6th National Nurses Conference on “Nursing Insights for the Future of Healthcare,” International E-Conference 2023 on “Intensifying Research Credentials: Universal Nursing Perspective,” and INNOVUS 2023 – “3rd Virtual National Nursing Science Exhibition.” Additionally, she has engaged in various state-level webinars, workshops, and seminars on diverse nursing-related topics.
