In this prospective study, I evaluated the role of EBUS-TBNA in diagnosing mediastinal lymphadenopathy across diverse clinical presentations. The research focused on determining the diagnostic yield, sensitivity, and specificity of EBUS-TBNA compared with conventional diagnostic modalities. The findings highlighted its clinical utility as a minimally invasive, safe, and accurate tool, reducing the need for more invasive procedures like mediastinoscopy. This thesis contributes valuable evidence supporting EBUS-TBNA as a frontline diagnostic approach in pulmonary and mediastinal diseases within tertiary care settings.
