Sasikala P. M.Sc. Nursing, Ph.d (Pursuing).
An educator with a progressive teaching and clinical experience of since 2001.
Have engaged in wide range of academic activities including learning and teaching, research and scholarly activity and external engagement and enterprising relevant Teaching and Research. Have handled various programs in Nursing And Allied Health Science (AHS) such as B.Sc.(Nursing), B.Sc. (Post Basic) Nursing, M.Sc. (Nursing), Basics of Medical Sciences and Trauma Care Management.
In due course have completed a certification in Palliative care in Indian Association of Palliative Care, New Delhi (2018). In the tenure of services have got trained in OSCE/OSPE by TNNMC & Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University, Chennai (2017), Emotional Intelligence in Health care by ANEI (2022) and 3T-IBHSc (Bio-Ethics) Training by Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education And research (2023).
Has been a Resource person to various conferences and workshops, conducted Training of Trainers (TOT) on OSCE /OSPE. Has been an Internal and External Examiner and Question paper setter for Board/University exams conducted by the various Universities across the country.
Being a Ph.D scholar works on, “Risk Mitigation Strategies (RMS) on Risk factors of Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD). And also serving as guide and Mentor for undergraduate and post graduate students for their project works.
PROJECTS
Obtained university level grant for Project titled, “Assessment of the knowledge and level of Vitamin-D and its risk on cardio – vascular diseases among professionals at selected Health Industry” in Chennai. by Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University Grants for the year 2018-21 in TamilNadu.
Currently involved in Ph.D Thesis tilted, “ Effectiveness of Risk Mitigation Strategies (RMS) on Risk factors of CVD among Adults”.
