Dr. S. Surya born on January 26, belongs to the vivid city of Thirunelveli. She is a distinguished figure in education and Research. She is a young researcher in the field of Cyber security. She is an embodiment of passion, dedication and possesses commendable knowledge in her field of study as well as research.
Her educational journey has been continuous pursuit of knowledge and research encompassing discipline as a main asset. She completed her schooling at Sri Jayendra Swamigal Silver Jubilee Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thirunelveli. She completed her B.E- CSE from one of the prominent institutions of the city. She secured significant academic background from Francis Xavier Engineering College. She also completed her M.E with specialization in Networks. She completed her PhD from ICE, Anna University. Her Academic career without any breaks in between is remarkably significant.
She received the Best Outgoing Award- 2014- 16. She was also a student who won the Young Researcher Award in the year.2022. As a testimony to her pioneering research and academic she bagged a lot of Awards. She received the Best Youngest Assistant Professor and researcher of the year 2023-24 by Inspiration men and women awards 2023. She also received the Young Achievers Award that was awarded by Aram foundation.
All these qualifications equipped her with a profound insight into employing various innovative methods in teaching
She has a great record in publication as well. This certainly shows her fervour for learning newer things. She has 3 SCI publications, 9 Scopus Publications and in other prominent journals she has 5 publications. She also has published a book and also two chapters in a book.
Her career symbolises her commitment towards Teaching and Research. Her exploration into various fields of her research has rendered a great and complete development. As a mentor she is a patient listener and an empathetic observer. This has helped a lot of students to overcome their fear and apprehensions. She has been a great facilitator who helps students to achieve personal and academic success.
