Ms. V. Jeevika Tharini is an academician and researcher with expertise in Data Mining, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Utility Mining, and the Internet of Things (IoT). She currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (Deemed University, Category I), since May 2023. With over six years of combined teaching and research experience, she has made notable contributions to the fields of computational intelligence and data science.
She holds an M.Phil. and M.Sc. in Computer Science, having secured First Rank in both M.Sc. and BCA programs. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science, with research focusing on high-utility itemset mining and optimization techniques.
Her scholarly output includes several SCOPUS and UGC-indexed journal publications, primarily addressing optimization algorithms, high-utility pattern mining, business intelligence, utility mining, and privacy-preserving healthcare systems. Her book chapters encompass topics such as VR-assisted rehabilitation for Parkinson’s disease, blockchain applications in intelligent knowledge systems, and IoT-based healthcare security.
She has also presented research at prominent national and international conferences indexed in Scopus, highlighting blockchain-enabled cyber-physical systems, hybrid LSTM models for business analytics, and bio-inspired frameworks for itemset mining.
